There was good news for educators and scholars alike this week.  Check out this handy advice on “7 Essential Tips for Picking a Student Laptop” http://bit.ly/MtRBwB.  Our sister conference eLearning Africa alerted us to the news that “YouTube Tallies 4 Million Creative Commons-Licensed Videos” http://bit.ly/MtRBwB. It’s anybody’s guess what the educational technology of tomorrow will be like, but this writer took a stab at it: http://zite.to/OiDXgf. On the blog Free Technology for Teachers, this article caught our eye mid-week: “The Collaborative Lecture: A Hybrid Approach to Learning” http://bit.ly/Mbd6kC.  And if you thought that iPads have no place on the playground, take a look at this exciting case study showing how iPads have been used in PE classes http://bit.ly/QparrY.  Finally, we simply had to retweet ‏@AnaCristinaPrts’ “How to Create Your Own Online Course: 100 Tools, Guides, and Resources” http://bit.ly/MeQiQO. The list offers much food for thought and plenty of material that will surely make it to your to-do list!
